I’ve a devoted server from Hetzner Auctions that I exploit with Plex and different issues. I found that I may simply allow the built-in GPU within the i7700 CPU (I solely needed to allow a few kernel modules and set up an Intel driver for QuickSync) with the intention to allow {hardware} acceleration in Plex. Now I can stream in full high quality 4K with nearly no CPU utilization
I had to purchase the Plex Move for 119e although (lifetime license) to have the ability to use {hardware} acceleration. I obtained {hardware} acceleration working without cost with Jellyfin too however with Jellyfin some codecs would not play and I had to make use of Tdarr to transcode movies in a greater format, which takes time. With Plex I do not want any of this so it was well worth the cost.
Does anybody right here use {hardware} acceleration in Plex?
